It’s inspiring those around you to deliver exceptional results. It’s being part of a team that shapes key engagements and events for Their Majesties. And it’s the satisfaction of knowing your role has an impact on the national stage. This is what makes working for the Royal Household so different.

As Team Leader, Royal Engagements, you’ll be at the helm of a dynamic team, managing the organisation and delivery of public engagements for Their Majesties.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring these events run seamlessly, helping connect The King and The Queen with the people, promoting national unity, and enhancing relations with the Realms and Commonwealth.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the Royal Engagements Team, overseeing the planning and delivery of engagements in line with strategic priorities.
- Managing the development of The King and Queen’s programme, liaising with Private Secretaries and internal teams to ensure engagements are well-organised and impactful.

- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from senior managers within the Royal Household to government departments and high-profile external contacts.
- Ensuring smooth delivery of the engagements programme, coordinating with relevant teams and overseeing the details, including recces and event logistics.
- Driving continuous improvement, setting performance metrics and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
