Job description
The Central Drafting Unit is responsible for the co-ordination of correspondence to Ministers from MPs, stakeholders and the public, as well as stage 1 and 2 customer complaints. |

Skills and experience
- Strong written and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel will be beneficial.
- line management experience within an operational environment is essential.
- Experience of leading and motivating staff to achieve daily targets and meet shared key performance indicators
- Evidence of working in a fast-paced environment and across multiple workstreams
- Working collaboratively and effectively with a range of other managers and stakeholders to ensure customers receive a high-quality service
- Ability to work autonomously, when required, to resolve complex queries

Office attendance
The Department operates a discretionary hybrid working policy, which provides for a combination of working hours from your place of work and from your home in the UK. The current expectation for staff is to attend the office or non-home-based location for 40-60% of the time over the accounting period.
