As a Change and Release Manager at LI, your focus will be to herd the planning, coordination, and execution of changes across the diverse pastures of our Azure-based terrain.

Job description

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Change Impact Assessment: Analysing and assessing the impact of proposed changes, utilising agreed processes and best practices
  • ISO 20000 Compliance: Applying ISO 20000 principles to change management processes, ensuring alignment with IT service management standards. Implement and maintain change management documentation in compliance with ISO 20000 requirements. 
  • Change and Release Process Oversight: Overseeing the end-to-end change management process, from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring compliance with all change policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating and documenting post-implementation reviews (PIRs) to ensure lessons learned are captured and applied to future changes.
  • Change Advisory Board (CAB) Management: Managing and chairing the Change Advisory Board, ensuring changes are reviewed and approved in line with the established change policy.
  • Working closely with change approvers to obtain timely approvals, addressing any queries and clarifications to facilitate the approval process.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks, issues, and the practicalities of normal, standard, and emergency changes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluating and enhancing change management processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness. Implementing automation to improve the change process.

        Person specification

        We are looking for someone with the following: 

        • Proven experience as a Change Manager and Release Manager
        • In-depth knowledge of ITILv4.
        • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
        • An understanding of Azure platform services and tools, with experience managing changes in cloud environments highly desirable.
        • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
        • Strong ability to analyse complex information, evaluate impact, and make informed recommendations.
        • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure timely execution of tasks.

                      Selection process details
