Job summary
As an Administrative Officer within the Intelligence Reserve Wing, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruiting process of Intelligence Reserve officers and aviators from across society to meet Into Training Targets (ITTs). You will work in a small team, with the autonomy to make decisions and support Wing personnel in a number of ways.
You will accomplish the mainstay of the role through the day-to-day administration and expeditious handling of all Officer and Other Rank (OR) cases within the HQ; by mentoring candidates through the recruitment process in accordance with the principles of effective Candidate Relationship Management (CRM); and by contributing as appropriate to Outreach activities designed to raise the profile of the RAF Reserves.
Full training and support will be given to ensure you are fully versed on the different systems and processes in place.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

You will be responsible to SO3 HR & Rec, Int Res Wg for performing the following duties, these are not a daily occurrence but can reasonably be expected to occur:

Person specification
The person that should apply for this role is one that has some HR experience, is proactive and able to work both individually and with a small team. Being an effective communicator is also something that will stand any applicant in good stead.
The role uses different IT systems, but training will be given on these.
A driving licence would be desirable for an applicant.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance. External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period.
