As part of our Business Planning and Partnerships team, you’ll support meaningful collaboration between key partners to ensure our schemes are delivered effectively, making a positive difference to communities across the UK.

As a valued member of our Delivery and Schemes Directorate, you’ll work in a dynamic environment that offers opportunities to co-ordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, oversee critical partnership agreements and strengthen our impact in social and environmental initiatives. Within this role, you'll gain exposure to high-impact projects while playing a vital role in supporting national decarbonisation goals.

Job description

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in building strong relationships and communicating effectively, as well as skills in financial analysis and business planning. You should be a self-starter who is comfortable managing diverse tasks, from stakeholder engagement to effective risk management.

Person specification

Essential Criteria 

  • Experience of building strong, trusting, and influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders (LEAD). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coherently organise and present information.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in business planning, budget management, and/or financial reporting. 
  • Demonstrable self-starter who can prioritise deliverables and use initiative to drive projects forward with others.  
  • Understanding of risk and issue management. 

Desirable Criteria 

  • Knowledge of the UK’s regulatory landscape and the energy industry
  • Experience of continuous improvement or efficiency projects
