Job description
The IM Specialist is responsible for data, reporting requirements, and products/dashboards needed for Programme delivery decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following functions:
- Annually in advance coordinate and plan the Battle Rhythm of Programme governance meetings, then act as secretary to capture, draft and promulgate the records of actions and decisions.
- Prepare, manage and disseminate all Programme related documentation to the SRO, Programme Director and other stakeholders within requisite timescales.
- Manage the ‘SharePoint’ and ‘MS Teams’ sites, ensuring they are correctly configured and compliant with Programme Delivery Office (PDO) and Programme Management Support Function (PMSF) information requirements and best practice.
- Ensure that all key Programme documentation (e.g. Artefacts, Business Cases, Programme Working Group and Board packs, including all related actions) are filed on SharePoint and are easily accessible by appropriate stakeholders.
- Lead MODNET Secret and Official Super User for Typhoon Business Area.
- Be the lead on Stakeholder Management, which includes maintaining the Stakeholder index and ensuring distribution lists are up to date.
- Engage and build good working relationships with Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) and Industry Partners to act as a key POC for gathering requested data.
- Other grade appropriate duties as required by the Line Manager.
- The advertised role is flexible and can be undertaken through a combination of office and home-based working. There is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will typically be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance. The post does not offer relocation expenses.
