Job summary

RBG Kew’s Living Collection is arguably the most diverse plant collection in cultivation in the world. Working as part of the Arboretum team, involves working within Kew’s Temperate collections.

This position covers the supervision of a wide range of areas within the Temperate Arboretum Section, including, the Berberis Dell, Mediterranean Garden, Wild Rose collection and Winter Garden.

Job description

These collections are important components of Kew’s living heritage landscape and visitor offer, and it is critical that they are kept to a high standard. The successful applicant will have an eye for detail, pride in their work and a passion for plants.

Person specification

Recent and significant experience of working in horticulture, caring for a range of hardy woody plants and turf maintenance, is essential. In addition to a Horticultural qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent relevant experience).
