The National Registry for Radiation Workers (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/radiation-workers-and-their-health-national-study )  is world class long-term study of the health effects of occupational radiation exposure in the UK. The cohort now comprises around 300K individuals and is one of the most important sources of epidemiological data concerning the effects of low-level radiation exposure in the world today.  The analysis of data drawn from this cohort provides the basis of a lot of the evidence the group publishes. The group also manages a similar study of service men that attended the British Nuclear tests in Australia and the Pacific Islands in the 1950’s and 60’s (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nuclear-weapons-test-participants-study).
