Job summary

As Social Media Executive, you will specialise in social media platforms – using your creativity and channel understanding to bring our brand and consumer marketing proposition and campaigns to life.

With a passion for Britain, you’ll always be on the lookout for popular topics and sounds, hot hashtags and the latest trends across social landscape and will be continually monitoring social performance, creating and looking out for top-performing content that can be shared with or recreated for our global audience. This role requires video shooting and editing skills, specifically experience in producing social-first short-form video content. This role also requires expert copywriting skills with impeccable spelling, grammar and formatting skills.

 It’s also important that you’re well-versed in the art of channel management, including scheduling, copywriting and community management, making sure VisitBritain really connects with our social audiences. As this role will also include covering and promoting the latest events in the travel industry across our social media channels, occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
