The Job is primarily based at Lisburn Dental Centre in Thiepval Barracks however there is a requirement to routinely work in other centres in Northern Ireland.

Person specification
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking CPD in the core subjects of medical emergencies, Infection Prevention Control (IPC), disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection, legal and ethical issues, and handling complaints, as recommended by the GDC.
- Carrying out and record daily maintenance, servicing and pre-use checks of dental equipment reporting defects in accordance with current equipment care policies.
- Working independently in accordance with DPHC Dental (D) Defence Primary Healthcare SOPs (Standing operating procedures) JSP 950 (Joint service publication, Freedom to Speak Up documents and all other relevant policy and guidelines.
- Managing dental records (manual and electronic), ensuring the correct hastening, receipt, despatch, registration, and storage of each Form Medical (F Med 271).
