About Your Team
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Relationship Coordinator to join the IT Service Management Team as a member of our Business Relationship Management Team in a growing organisation. Operating in a fast paced and varied environment, your team is at the heart of enabling much of what HSE does.
You will establish and embed Business Partnering/Relationship Management best practice principles. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic role at the core of HSEs Business partner/relationship activities.
Part time working hours are available for this role. We can accept part time applicants who can commit to working a minimum of 29.6 hours over 4 days per week.
Job description
Your role will be to establish and maintain a close working relationship between Information Technology Services (ITS) and HSE divisions and be the conduit for their requirements and reporting.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Identify divisional needs and requirements for IT Services
- Proactively create and maintain a strong network of connections with colleagues across HSE
- Support HSE divisions and directorates objectives and ways of working in relation to IT.
- Ensure the alignment of the IT Strategy to HSE business plans, supporting divisions and directorates objectives and ways of working
- Be the conduit into IT Services for divisional requests for change and requirements for new services
- Interpret user insight and performance data to drive service design and iterative operational improvements for digital and assisted digital service channels
- Contribute to the Business Relationship Management teamwork plan
Person specification
You will be involved in coordination, integration and continuous service improvement (CSI), ensuring our Service Management function is business driven, customer focused and value for money. This position provides an opportunity to further develop a mix of communication, prioritisation and planning skills. You will work for the IT Service Manager within Service Operations and be a member of the Business Relationship Management Team.
Key responsibilities:
As part of your role you will:
- Assist with the implementation and communication of IT and digital projects.
- Draft and publish IT service updates across multi-channels e.g. HSE Intranet.
- Act as the first point of contact for HSE divisions, assisting with the management and maintenance of the ITS Communications shared mailbox.
- Work with Service Operations and Service Desk colleagues to measure, monitor and report on IT Service performance and user requests to identify trends and CSI opportunities.
- Be actively involved in the delivery of core business services.
- Maintain the IT Knowledge Base in ServiceNow by undertaking quarterly reviews/ updating, to support the use and modernisation of HSEs IT services.
- Be able to identify, build, manage and monitor relationships with and between stakeholders and HSE Divisions.
Essential Criteria:
- Effective stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work outside your immediate team to build effective working relationships.
- Good organisational and planning skills to enable delivery to a strict timetable, following a defined process.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to be proactive, and work in a dynamic environment, managing your own time and priorities effectively to ensure delivery of quality outputs.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
- A general understanding of the ITIL v4 lifecycle
There may be ad hoc travel required to other HSE locations but this will be discussed and agreed beforehand and will be very few and far between.

Sift Information
A sift will take place during week commencing 4th November 2024 when you will be assessed on your CV and Personal Statement.

Interview information
Interviews will take place via Microsoft Teams during week commencing 11th November 2024 when you will be assessed against your experience from your CV and Personal Statement and, the advertised behaviours.
