The Role
We’re recruiting for a Service Improvement Analyst here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative End User Compute team.
A Service Improvement Project Analyst will be responsible for the management and development of new projects once data collection, research and analysis are executed. Duties include active research to design new projects and to prepare and present new ideas to improve current processes which impact the business. Information collection is also a part of the job with the need to analyse statistical data, market trends and legislation relevant to projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to succeed in this position while also possessing excellent research and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project strategy plans based on logical framework approaches.
- Maintain project timeframes, objectives and communications.
- Create and manage documentation and reports for projects.
- Identify the goals and requirements of each project.
- Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project.
- Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges.
- Collect the necessary information required to start projects.
- Maintain current knowledge on the legislation applicable to each project.

Person Specification
Essential
- Strong understanding in project management and data analysis, able to identify and challenge organisational processes and know how to guide the team through the implementation of a new process.
- Communicating and Influencing. You can listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them. You can manage stakeholder expectations, and facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders.
- Making Effective Decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional research and reporting skills
- Agile practices. You have practical experience and understanding of Agile tools, techniques and principles. You can adapt and reflect, be resilient and have the ability to see outside of the process.
- You have practical experience of facilitating the team’s planning cycle, managing complex internal and external dependencies, removing blockers that affect plans and can develop a plan for a difficult situation.
- Life-cycle perspective. You can ensure the team is working towards the appropriate service standards for the relevant phase. You can manage delivery products and services at different phases.
- Financial management. You can report on financial delivery, and can monitor cost and budget.
- Commercial management. You can act as the point of contact for contracted suppliers. You understand appropriate internal contacts and processes within a government department.
Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for BPSS clearance.

Successful candidates who meet the required standard will then be invited to a 1-hour panel interview held via video conference.
