- Make the most of published plans to fully realise their value and utility including through more informed and efficient decision-making, working with others in MMO to lead by example.

- Broadcast our experience, outputs and activities to widen understanding and ownership of marine planning and improve recognition of the MMO’s contributions.
- Be a hub of expertise, growing and maintaining our capability and helping to build a broader community of marine planning practice.
The Strategic Renewables Unit vision is to: ‘Ensure the MMO’s vision of a prosperous future for our seas, coasts and communities is supported through deployment of sustainable offshore wind and other marine renewables.’
