We act as the front door to Homes England for our partners, working with Combined Authorities, Local Authorities and private sector partners to build pipelines of investment ready housing growth and regeneration projects.

Job description

This is a rare chance to shape the future delivery of often complex and interesting sites in the Midlands, in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.

MPP is a multidisciplinary team with a remit to identify, lead on, and provide support to, large-scale, complex and innovative projects that require multiple interventions, cross-government and cross discipline working. The team will work closely with Homes England colleagues and other Government Departments to provide a bridge between policy, strategy and delivery. By forming a clear understanding of the strategic context and priorities surrounding a particular project at the predevelopment stage; and by drawing on expertise and relationships, the team will develop robust, large-scale housing strategies that will drive market change and unlock delivery.

Person specification

Working in the Midlands Markets, Partners and Places (MPP) team you will play a critical role in the future delivery of a portfolio of large-scale, complex regeneration projects. Based in our Birmingham office you will have the chance to be involved in, and shape, projects that achieve transformative Urban Regeneration and housing growth throughout the West Midlands, such as catalyst sites in the Black Country and the wider Combined Authority Area.

You’ll act as part of the ‘front door’ to Homes England for our partners, working with Combined Authorities, Local Authorities and private sector partners to build pipelines of investment ready for housing growth and regeneration projects.
