Job summary
The role is an advisory role and leads on technical accounting topics for Companies House Finance in accordance with the FREM. It also is the senior finance lead for the annual NAO audit of the Companies House Annual Report and Accounts, and supervises the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts.

Person specification
We are looking for:
- A highly motivated individual with experience in successfully managing technical Financial Accounting topics ideally, but not limited to a public sector setting.
- A strong stakeholder manager: you will have the ability to build and establish positive relationships with a range of stakeholders to support the delivery of business outcomes and possess good interpersonal skills and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Experience gained in a Finance position in a Finance section, either in private or public sectors or in Audit and Assurance Services.
Essential criteria;
- A qualified accountant (CA,ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
Desirable criteria;
- Experience of improving compliance with Government Functional Standards and/or Financial Global Design Principles
